ATC Forum Conference

ATC Forum Conference

Civil aviation provides the only rapid worldwide transportation network, which makes it essential for global business and tourism. The air transport infrastructure; aircraft, runways, airport terminals and airspace, together form the air transport system.

Advances in technology along with sustained long-term traffic growth, has increased the interdependence of this infrastructure and its users; aircraft operators, airports and air navigation service providers, across the globe. This underscores the importance of implementation of the ICAO Global Air Navigation Plan, setting the framework for the next decade of civil aviation.

Sessions will cover:

  • CAPA global traffic forecast
  • Remote Tower operations: Implementing the largest fully-capable remote tower in the world by operational scale
  • Drones: Working together to integrate manned and unmanned aircraft in controlled airspace to ensure safe skies for everyone
  • Defining the future role of the ATCO in the automation age
  • Integration of tower systems: Applying latest-generation tools to increase safety levels and manage more flights at a lower cost
  • The Evolution of Data Link: A Global Picture
  • Space-based Automatic Dependent Surveillance – Broadcast (ADS-B) data as an alternative to traditional terrestrial platforms
