Skytrax Awards Bahrain International Airport 5-Star Rating for Second Year

Bahrain International Airport (BIA) has been awarded a 5-star rating for the second consecutive year by the airport and airline rating organisation Skytrax. Direct services for departures and arrivals, diverted flights, airport facilities, customer service, security, immigration, retail, and food and beverage establishments are all considered in determining this rating.

Zayed R. Al Zayani, chairman of the Board of Directors of Gulf Air Group, conveyed his satisfaction with this accomplishment and commended the commitment of the Bahrain Airport Company (BAC) staff and its partners. Mohamed Yousif Al Binfalah, the chief executive officer of BAC, commended the customer experience team and associates of the airport for their efforts in preserving superior service quality. Bahrain International Airport has been praised by Edward Plaisted, the CEO of Skytrax, for its exceptional facilities, pleasant terminal environment, and user-friendly architecture, all of which contribute to its status as a top-rated airport among travellers.
