Saudi Arabia's General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) has unveiled a new economic policy framework, marking a significant transformation in the country's aviation regulations since the launch of Vision 2030.

The framework, which covers airport services and aims to attract $100 billion in investments by 2030, supports airport privatisation and greater competitiveness. GACA's president emphasised that these changes create a dynamic and competitive market, benefiting both passengers and investors. The regulations were developed through extensive stakeholder consultation and will be phased in over 18 months.
