Mangaluru International Airport Achieves Record-Breaking 7,399 Passengers on November 19th

On November 19, 7,399 people passed through Mangaluru International Airport (MIA), setting a new record. There were a total of 26 flights that arrived and 25 that departed, carrying 3,527 people arriving and 3,872 passengers departing. For the first time since November 2021, the airport exceeded the 7,000-passenger daily handling milestone, and it was the highest daily handled passenger number since October 31, 2020.

Flights departing from IndiGo, Air India, and Air India Express had a load factor of 91%, compared to 79% on incoming flights (including domestic and international).
Factors contributing to the higher passenger footfalls for the day include the resumption of the aircraft on the Mangaluru–Pune sector and an event at a famous educational institution in the neighbouring region.
