- There is widening global availability and penetration of COVID-19 vaccines, leading to the easing of border controls and domestic/international travel restrictions.
- Passenger traffic is predicted to rise by 4% per year. Growing confidence in the safety of air travel and the satisfying of pent-up demand are behind the demand growth.
- Middle Eastern airlines are expected to receive 3,000 new aircraft deliveries over the next 20 years in response to long-term passenger traffic growth trends.
- Another 196,000 personnel hires will become necessary across ME airlines within the same period, with tens of thousands of hires for ME airports too.
