CEM Systems Aviation Specific Access Solutions – Leaders in aviation security
At Airport Show Dubai CEM Systems will be showcasing how the leading AC2000 Airport security management system can be deployed beyond access control to create smarter, more efficient modern airports. Innovative hardware devices including the latest S3050 portable reader and the emerald intelligent IP access terminal will also be on display.
Emerald is a smart, touch screen reader with integrated VoIP intercom and a range of applications that enables airports to use their access control terminal for other business functions beyond that of just controlling a door. For example for advanced control of Gate room management for passenger segregation and aiding passenger flow, as well as controlling fixed ground power to planes for calculating airline power consumption.
Airports have also utilised emerald to display adverts or health and safety messages before credential holders enter a secure or sanitized airport zone.
CEM Systems will also be showcasing its latest S3050 portable hand-held reader. Within airports, the S3050 reader can be used for example by a security guard either in a patrolling mode within predefined airport zones, or at fixed temporary locations where there is no power, to verify that a cardholder is authorised to be at that airside/landside location.
