Featured Sessions in the Global Airport Leaders Forum

While airports are constantly evolving their security measures to handle new and existing threats, the pandemic highlighted just how quickly and dramatically security parameters can change. This section will explore ways in which airports can rebuild security capacity without unduly impacting on passenger convenience. The importance of integrating robotics, drones, and advanced facial recognition and behavioural biometrics into airport security infrastructure will feature heavily in this year’s discussions.

The timeline for creating the next generation of airports has been stepped up. Seamless, safe, automated and efficient airport experiences from start to finish are the order of the day. This year, our speakers and panellists will deep dive into the power of AI, automation, advanced data analytics and other emerging tech to fully revitalise airport operations. They will also address evolving passenger expectations, and how they impact current and future airport development strategies.

2021 GALF Agenda

Technology is changing fast and passengers are demanding the very best connectivity, a seamless journey and more entertainment than ever before. Airport and Airlines have no choice but to keep ahead and have the technologies in place behind the scenes of airport operations, security and air traffic control to support a new age of consumer.

Five tracks will be at the core of this year’s Global Airport Leaders’ Forum Programme:
