Two new free to attend conferences have been added to the Global Airport Leaders’ Forum programme: Future Ground Handling Summit on 24 May and Airport Passengers’ Experience Conference on 25 May.
Future Ground Handling Summit
The Future Ground Handling Summit explores how airports can improve the safety, efficiency and sustainability of their ground-based activities through the intelligent leveraging of operational data and judicious use of emerging technologies such as AI, blockchain and others. Alongside new technical innovations, optimal training programmes and methodologies will be going under the microscope, giving operators the guidance they need to prepare their employees for any eventuality in the demanding industry environment of today.
Airport Passengers’ Experience Conference
The Airport Passengers' Experience Conference, held during the Global Airport Leaders' Forum 2021, will focus on how to make customers’ journey experience-driven rather than process-driven. Innovations and improvements in terminal design, airport ambience, easy boarding procedures, accessibility and other vital factors can be the difference between delivering consistent customer satisfaction or attracting costly complaints and criticisms.
Such innovations need to be scalable, practical and sustainable so that the business of air travel has a long-term future. Operators need to be able to satisfy their customers by providing a stress-free passenger experience while at the same time live up to their shared global responsibly to reduce their environmental impact on the world.
